The first event at Concordia
The first event of ASQ Montreal Universities' Student Branch took place on January 25th, 2011, at Concordia University. At the beginning of that event, the first speaker, Mr. Eric Stern, spoke about the foremost issues for the success of Quality professionals.

The second speaker, Dr. David Tozer spoke in detail about the necessity of certification courses for the practitioners (and for students) for working effectively in the quality field. He told that "Quality Certification programs would provide standards and guidelines for professional to apply knowledge in a practical manner".
