/Process Engineer
Location: Montreal QC
We have an opportunity available for a Manufacturing
/Process Engineer located in the Montreal QC area. The company is a
division of a major multinational supplying products
to the aircraft /aerospace industry. Additional details are:
Responsibilities/Tasks
- Analyze
and improve the efficiency of manufacturing processes and monitor
parameters.
- Develop
and implement lean manufacturing methods and principles (Kaizen, Six
Sigma
etc).
- Manage
and lead Six Sigma projects in areas of productivity and quality
improvements.
- Previous
experience leading process improvement projects and implementing JIT
techniques
in high mix, low volume production environments.
- Knowledge of PFMEA, Six Sigma, Manufacturing Planning
and Control, Facility Layout, JIT, and Kaizen techniques.
- Diploma /Degree Engineering with related experience in
a manufacturing environment for automotive, aerospace or related
environment.
