JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide quality leadership in a concurrent engineering environment, from design to production;

Implement advanced planning, analysis and quality management concepts and tools in a product development environment;

Evaluate supplier quality systems and manufacturing processes. Identify the risks and provide proactive and rigorous follow up of action plans;

Support supplier quality assurance technicians in the use of quality tools and processes in a multidisciplinary work team approach;

Assist suppliers in the use of quality tools and processes;

Take charge of multidisciplinary action plans during major quality issues involving suppliers.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

BA in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering;

Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in the manufacturing sector;

Strong knowledge of quality tools and processes (Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP);

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Minitab an asset);

Fluency in both written and oral English and French is essential.
