About BARIATRIX NUTRITION

A family business that cares

Bariatrix Nutrition is a family business with 65 employees. Through three generations, the Company has made a commitment to understanding and meeting the nutritional needs of those wanting to control their weight.

Bariatrix is a leader in its industry and is proud of its growing functional food product line and the scientific innovation that went into its development. It will continue to lead in the research and development of new, great-tasting, premium quality food products and program support to professional weight loss practitioners.

Addressing the obesity epidemic

Today, approximately two-thirds of adult North Americans are overweight. And many are morbidly obese. But these staggering numbers did not happen overnight. The obesity epidemic has been steadily worsening over the past 30 years. During this time, Bariatrix Nutrition’s cutting edge research and development has provided a growing menu of great tasting food products and program support to professional weight loss practitioners.

The Company’s knowledge and understanding of this severe problem gives Bariatrix a leading edge. Bariatrix is the company best prepared to share proven product and program expertise with bariatric specialists and other medical practitioners who are being overwhelmed with new patients and new challenges.

Bariatrix’s goal is to build professional relationships founded on mutual trust, respect and commitment to fighting an epidemic that threatens even the youngest members of our society.

Serving North America and Europe

Leadership in the research, development and distribution of nutrition and weight management food products, supplements and weight loss programs has contributed to Bariatrix’s worldwide growth.

Sales offices in the USA, Canada and Europe as well as a strong customer service ethic make it possible to provide support needed for positive outcomes.

Bariatrix has a safe, professional and ethical practice. Bariatrix Nutrition can provide you with the food products that comply with a wide range of diet protocols. These can include maintenance diets for non-surgical patients and highly-sensitive, post-bariatric surgery diets. Bariatrix Nutrition has been the leader in the field of protein rich food and supplements for medically supervised weight loss programs since 1978. Its products have been developed by a cross-disciplinary team of biochemists, food engineers and scientists – all dedicated to creating great tasting, functional food.

Bariatrix is a clear winner on flavour while meeting the highest nutritional compliance and performance standards for medically supervised weight loss programs.

Bariatrix is the gold standard most preferred by weight control practitioners.

Which is why it limits its business to dealing directly with these experts. The Company’s products are not available for sale to the general public. All dietary health care products are foods that conform to good manufacturing practices. They are also regulated and comply with all applicable food and drug legislation.

Bariatrix is in the process of becoming HACCP-certified and most of its products are kosher.
