FAQ:
| CONTACT: | To post a job opening on our section's web site, this includes our
Section Newsletter if the timing is right, simply e-mail the particulars
of the opening to me at n.dickinson@alumni.concordia.ca.
The section Newsletter Editor and Internet Chair share all job postings.
After a position is posted I generally notify the owner of the position to view it before the section members are advised that there is a new career posting. |
| FORMAT: | Because the Internet Liaison Chair is voluntary I prefer to receive
documents in a format (I.E. MS Word, Word Perfect, HTM(L), RTF, etc.) which
will involve a minimum amount of work on my part for conversion into a
format suitable for posting on the internet. I do not accept
faxes or any documents which are not editable.

| COST: | There are no charges for posting a bone fide position on the section
web site.
|
| AD RUN TIME: | For specific positions, normally the posting is kept in place for one
newsletter cycle, one month from time of posting or until it is known that
the opening has been filled. However these are only guidelines for the
Internet Liaison who may extend or shorten the posting at his/her discretion.
If you have a length of time in mind for the ad to be posted let me know.

| LANGUAGE: | Openings may be in English, French or bilingual although bilingual
is preferred.

| CONTRACTORS: | We accept these positions as well but with the following difference.
The ad run time will normally be posted for a prolonged period of time
however it is at the discretion of the Internet Liaison Chair. All other
requirements are as detailed within this document.
