This will help understand how these tools impact QA in companies. Attendees will learn how they can be integrated into processes and deliver measurable ROI.
1. GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing):
GD&T improves part quality by clearly defining geometric tolerances. It simplifies communication between designers and manufacturers, optimizing part design while reducing production costs and non-conformities.
2. Model Based Definition (MBD):
MBD centralizes all product information into a single 3D model, eliminating the need for separate 2D drawings. It enhances collaboration between design and manufacturing teams, reduces errors, and improves change management.
3. Twyn:
Twyn is a visual inspection solution using augmented reality to overlay CAD models onto real parts in real time via a tablet. This technology simplifies visual inspections, reduces the need for experts on-site, and quickly detects non-conformities, improving inspection efficiency and reducing costs. |
